Route 65 Sales & Classics LLC buys, sells, trades, locates, and consigns classic cars. We aim to make your buying or selling experience a pleasant one.

If you have a classic automobile that you would like to sell we hope you’ll consider consigning it with us. Our consignment process takes the hassle out of selling a car. We know that sometimes the decision to sell a classic is a difficult one and other times the need arises out of difficult circumstances. We’ve established a consignment plan that takes the headache out of the process.

We offer two consignment options, one indoor and one outdoor. Both include these standard options:

• A complete visual inspection and test drive
• A mechanical inspection to establish it is safe to drive and suggest needed repairs
• Our experienced staff will establish the value of your car in today’s market
• Photography
• Marketing on our website and social media channels for 90 days
• Marketing on multiple listing sites around the world for 90 days
• Negotiation on your behalf
• All paper work at time of sale

Things Worth Noting:

Our beautiful building gets a lot of visitors off the highly traveled Highway 65 and we never charge anyone a dime to take a look around. Quite the opposite really, we encourage people and car clubs to visit our showroom. We host car shows on our large outdoor lot. We welcome car enthusiasts to visit us, they are our kind of people! Our highly attractive showroom is climate controlled and filled with natural light, keeping your car out of the elements and easy to view.

The Outdoor Consignment Package includes the all of the standard options. You are responsible for the presentation of your vehicle, and it is displayed on our fenced outdoor lot. This option is more affordable and offers great visibility.

A more complete detail of your vehicle that includes wash inside and out, vacuum, carpets cleaned, engine detail, and paint polish done by professional automotive detailer can be added for an additional fee.

What if my car needs some work?

We have a shop here on-site. Because we often see cars that are in need of some TLC we provide this convenience to our customers. Upon completion of our inspection, we will advise you of suggested vehicle repairs or maintenance items. You can opt to have the work completed here, take it elsewhere, or opt not to make the repairs and accept that decision will likely have an impact on the amount you receive for the vehicle.

How is the price determined?

Our team here at Route 65 Sales & Classics LLC has many years of experience with classics, we put that knowledge to work when establishing a value for your vehicle. It does neither of us any good to price a car too high or too low. Together, we agree to a guaranteed minimum on your vehicle. We earn anything over that amount. If your vehicle doesn’t fetch offers of the minimum amount we will discuss adjusting the price as needed.

What happens next?

Once we’ve determined the pricing, an agreement is signed and we get busy marketing your vehicle while you can relax. We prepare the vehicle and do our best to show it to as many people as possible. We respond to all inquiries and handle negotiations. You will never be bothered with phone calls, strangers, meeting strangers, tire kickers, or no-shows. We make the process easy from start to finish.
